  2. Here is a plain cheesecake recipe:

  4. Crust:  2 cups crushed graham crackers
  5.         4 tbls sugar
  6.         1/4lb(or 1 stick) butter (melted)
  7.  
  8.         mix together and press into a 9 x 13 in pan
  9.  
  10. Filling:24oz Cream cheese
  11.          5 eggs
  12.          1 cup sugar
  13.          1 tsp vanilla
  14.  
  15.         Cream the cheese (cream cheese should be at room temp). Add
  16.         eggs one at a time, creaming each one into cheese before adding
  17.         the next one. Mix in sugar slowly.  Add vanilla.  Pour onto
  18.         crust. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Bake cake for 40 min.

  20. Topping:16oz of Sour cream
  21.          4tblsp sugar
  22.          1tsp vanilla
  23.  
  24.         When cake comes out of the oven, turn up oven to 450 degrees.
  25.         Add topping to cake and put cake back in oven for 5 minutes.

  27. When cake is done, let cool. Then chill in frig for several hours (I usually
  28. leave it in the frig over night or all day).
